Biomedical Engineering Solutions for Healthier Life

Vaidotas Marozas is a research scientist at the Biomedical Engineering Institute of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), and an assoc. professor at the Signal Processing Department of the Faculty of Telecommunications and Electronics, KTU.

His research interests lie in the area of signal processing and embedded systems for biomedical applications: application of electroconductive textiles for physiological signals monitoring, detection and characterization of atrial fibrillation in bioelectrical and biooptical signals, and real time signal processing algorithms for wearable electronics.

Vaidotas Marozas is author and co-author of more than 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and several textbooks on biomedical signal processing.

V. Marozas was a visiting PhD student and research scientist during several time periods (1998–2000, 2001 and 2012) at the Signal Processing Group in Lund University, Sweden.

He received jis BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Electronic Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas, Lithuania, in 1993, 1995, and 2000 respectively.
