Tarmo Kivi has ten years of entrepreneurial experience in the biotechnology industry. Currently he is involved as shareholder, board member or adviser in several different companies in the industry.The companies Tarmo Kivi works with include the Celecure research and development companies, the Competence Center for Cancer Research, the genetic analysis company IB Genetics, Inbio, a distributor of laboratory supplies and devices, and the biotechnology management company IBCC Holding.
In additionTarmo has been involved with a few smaller start-up companies, for which he has raised over 2 million euro venture capital investments and close to 10 million euro soft funding.
Previously he was an investment specialist in the venture capital management company SEAF Baltic Small Equity Fund.
Tarmo graduated at the Estonian Business School and studied gene technology in Tallinn University of Technology.
